STEPS

Reminder: A lapped disc with a certain type of lining will only be compatible with that type until it is replaced.

  1. Perform a series of 15 contained brakes from 20 to 5 km/h. It is important not to stop between two braking operations to properly ventilate the MTB disc as well as the caliper.
  2. Then stop to let your brake cool down for 5 minutes.
  3. Now carry out a series of 10 more intense brakings, without stopping dead in your tracks, going from 30 to 5 km/h. It is important not to stop between two braking operations to properly ventilate the disc and the caliper.
  4. Switch to the other brake by repeating steps 1 to 3
